Following the adoption last May of two new anti-terrorism conventions on the prevention of terrorism and terrorist financing, the Council of Europe’s Committee of Experts on Terrorism (CODEXTER) is holding its 9th meeting in Strasbourg, 8-10 November 2005.
The CODEXTER will identify additional gaps in international law and action against terrorism including those relating to cyber-terrorism and bio-terrorism in the light of recent moves of the Parliamentary Assembly.
Moreover, it will release an additional series of country profiles on counter-terrorism capacity. The EU, the OSCE and the UN will also take part in the meeting.
