A high level conference on the future of the European Court of Human Rights will be organised in Brighton, United Kingdom on 18-20 April 2012.

The Committee of Ministers supervises the Council of Europe's member states’ execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. In 2008 , for the first time,   an   annual report on the Committee of Ministers’ supervision was published. An on line database on the state of execution of judgments of the Court has also been established.
